777 was a performance constructed by students under the guide of Kornelia Craft at The American University of Beirut. Together we created visual narratives inspired by the seven deadly sins, pride, envy, greed, wrath, gluttony, lust, and sloth. The performance was done in The Dome City Center, a half-destroyed structure in downtown Beirut that was the country's largest cinema before the Lebanese Civil War.
I enacted pride and wrath within the performance. The piece was chosen to go to the Venice Biennale for the Lebanese Pavilion in 2011, but canceled when Lebanon pulled out of the Biennale.
